Returning to Berlin

So, it is Tuesday. I am spending the day returning to Berlin so that I am within screaming distance of the airport. I will be leaving Friday morning at 9a for the airport. I have decided to give Berlin a second chance, now that I have become accustomed to Germany a bit more over the last few weeks. I feel that starting off in the city may not have been the right choice, as I have always been one for the country.

So Wednesday and Thursday, I will be seeing what the city has to offer during the day and night. I will plant myself at a hotel and go explore; perhaps I will see what I can find for a nightlife. For my last few days in Germany, I want to make things awesome. I am, admittedly, a bit hopeful that I find a special someone in the cityscape. But, as those who know me can tell you, I always wear my heart on my sleeve.

Berlin has always been a city of music, so I think it is about time I listened to it. I will be looking online for any recommendations to go places. The fine line is going to be finding the right crowd, while still having fun. If things go well, I should land both.

With just under an hour on the train, I think I will wrap up these thoughts. Let’s see what the final two days bring. Oh. And here are some pictures from my stay in Rothenburg!

  1. Did you get to speak with the woman in the picture? The one just across the bridge. She doesn’t look totally happy with a stranger taking pictures.
Again, fantastic views into your journey.

    1. It was interesting how that came about, because she would wait while I was waiting, and when I decided she was waiting for me, I would put my camera up and then she would step forward at the same time. This went on a total of three times before I just said, “F it” and took the picture. She, of course, stepped in. Can’t win ’em all.
